How About a Free Robotic Calculator?

CPA firms these days give away many things -- pens, pencils, stress balls for clients' desks, etc. And, we've given all of those things away in the past, too.  But, our favorite giveaway has always been the calculator.

Recently, we reordered an old favorite:  the Robotic Calculator -- press a button and the cover swings open, causing the device to prop itself up as shown in the picture here. Our clients love them because they're fun, well made, and solar powered (so they'll run forever). We love them because they sit on our clients' desks, a gentle reminder that when a matter of fiscal concern arises at your company, you're only a quick phone call away from a professional solution.

So, if you'd like one of our handy calculators, drop me an email (with your address) at Dee@CaseSabatini.com and I'll get one out to you!

But wait, there's more!  How about a handy trick you can try yourself? (You'll love this, I promise...)  Grab your soon-to-be old calculator (because, you won't need it once I send you the new one with our firm logo on it), and try this:

  • Take the first three digits of your phone number
(not your area code - just the first three regular digits).

  • Multiply that by 80.

  • Add 1.

  • Multiply that by 250.

  • Now add the last four digits of your phone number.

  • Now add the last four digits of your phone number again.

  • Subtract 250.

  • Divide by 2.

Recognize that number?  Strange... isn't it?!
