Not There Yet, Financially Speaking With the significant increases in gas prices lately, I’ve received several calls regarding the economical sense of hybrid vehicles. Right now, I don’t believe they make sense based on their premium cost and poor resale value. Recently, a columnist from the Philadelphia Inquirer summed up these views rather well.
